Project Spotlight

1920's Colonial

The design challenge here was to strip away the 1990’s renovations (dark cherry cabinetry, green marble, coffered ceiling, etc.) and to create a more open connection between the kitchen, breakfast area, and family room. The new kitchen is fresh and modern with clean lines. The family room is lighter and brighter without the heavy stained wood ceiling. New beams were added to complement the volume. We also renovated all of the bathrooms, primary dressing room, butler’s pantry, study, powder room and basement. Rosen Kelly Conway designed both the architectural improvements as well as the interior finishes and furniture.
